Most of the blogs I visited was bragging about the new released Wordpress 2.6 from 3 days ago. However, I can’t upgrade my blog engine until this afternoon. I’ve still got those trauma on waiting my Wordpress blog upgraded through FTP connection (my internet is poor speedwise), so I just wait until my host’s Fantastico get updates on their Wordpress Installation 
My first impression was “nothing”, until I’ve checked the dashboard and notice that there are numbers on my “Plugins” menu dan “Turbo” menu. I haven’t found its function yet.. It would be nice if someone can enlighten me about this “Turbo” menu
I know that this Wordpress 2.6 have pretty nice improvement like stated in their Wordpress 2.6 release notes. And what made me so excited is their new “Word Count” feature, it will help a lot when doing paid reviews or making an article SEO worthy
I will take my time exploring Wordpress 2.6’s new feature addition this weekend. I hope everyone is happy like me with Wordpress 2.6 upgrades.

Quite a few people have complained about 2.6. The only complaint I had was after I installed I couldn’t log back in until I cleared my cookies. This was a REALLY big pain and wordpress said nothing about the issue on their main site. They should have had an announcement stating that (I was using Opera, FF3 also seemed to have the problem).
Anyway, I’m glad you like it. I like it now that my problem is fixed.
Me too.. I have to upgrade my PHP memory settings to make it work
But after all that, this versions still makes me happy

btw, koolsonic.com will be online by monday. i got the same old attack just like several months ago. i have contacted the hosting and they say i have to mail them about this (lewat pos! katrok banget ga seeeh). and because it’s weekend, the letter will be received by them by monday

I heard that wordpress 2.6 is ok but wordpress2.6.1 is ko cause its easy to hack…

I don’t think so.. I’ve heard that wordpress 2.6.1 was made to make up for 2.6 security holes.
